ESPN Secure Live Italian Seria A Football TV Rights
ESPN yesterday secured live rights to show live Italian Serie A Football in the UK. ESPN will begin their Live Serie A coverage on Saturday August 22nd with Siena taking on AC Milan, followed by Inter Milan V Bari on Sunday 23rd August. ESPN’s Serie A coverage will be shown live on the new ESPN and ESPN HD channels.

No Live Italian Football On TV 2008/09
Despite a seemingly positive announcement from James Richardson a few weeks ago, it looks like there will be no live coverage of Italian Football on UK TV this season. A deal could not be agreed between Setanta and Lega Calcio due to live online streaming of Italian Football.
